Cancellation Policy

At Sand Castle Tourism, we are committed to providing exceptional travel experiences across Qatar. We understand that travel plans may change, and our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both our guests and our operations.

1. Regular Tour Booking Cancellation Policy

The following policy applies to all standard tours and travel services booked directly with Sand Castle Tourism.

Cancellation by the Customer

• 30 days or more before the tour: 95% refund of the total booking amount.
• 7 to 29 days before the tour: 75% refund of the total booking amount.
• Less than 7 days before the tour: 50% refund of the total booking amount.
• Same-day cancellation or No-Show: No refund will be issued.

Changes to Bookings

Tour dates or services may be changed, subject to availability. Requests should be made as early as possible.

Cancellation by Sand Castle Tourism

Sand Castle Tourism reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a tour due to weather conditions, safety concerns, government regulations, or unforeseen operational circumstances.

In such cases, guests may choose either:

• A full refund, or
• Rescheduling to another available date.

2. STPC Guest Tour Cancellation Policy

This policy applies exclusively to guests booking tours under the STPC (Stopover Paid by Carrier) program.

Due to payment gateway and banking procedures, same-day refunds for card payments cannot be processed immediately. The following cancellation charges apply.

Card Payments

• Same-day cancellation: A 50% cancellation charge will apply.
• Refund processed within 7 working days: A 20% processing and cancellation charge will apply.
• Refund processed within 30 working days: A 5% processing charge will apply.

All approved refunds will be credited to the original payment card. The actual time for the funds to appear in your account depends on your card issuer or bank.

Cash Payments

• Same-day cancellation: A 30% cancellation charge will apply.
• Approved cash refunds will be processed after cancellation confirmation by Sand Castle Tourism.

No-Show

Guests who fail to arrive at the scheduled pickup location without prior notice will be considered a No-Show, and no refund will be issued.

General Terms

• Refunds will only be processed after the cancellation has been confirmed by Sand Castle Tourism.
• Refund processing times may vary depending on the payment gateway, issuing bank, and card provider.
• Any applicable payment gateway fees, bank charges, currency conversion fees, or other transaction charges may be deducted from the refundable amount.
• Private tours, corporate bookings, customized packages, and special event bookings may be subject to separate cancellation policies communicated at the time of booking.
