Horse racing is one of the most ancient of all sports, where the Arabian horses in Qatar are purely bread steeds, and the locals take great pride in owning and raising these beautiful creatures. Archaeological records indicate that horse racing occurred in Ancient Greece, Babylon, Syria, and Egypt since ancient times. You will be taken to QREC (Qatar Racing & Equestrian Club) to witness multiple local and international breeds racing, and you might just get a chance to watch the races from the Emiri Chamber. Although betting is not allowed in Qatar, prizes on many occasions will be handed out to raffle draw winners.
